Morgan's tale of sex and frolic

Let me tell you a tale as it unfolds of a girl's experiences most true and profound. She is a girl of 28, a worldly and educated sort who once upon a time had the convenience of falling into a great and spiraling love, an almost mythical kind of love (mirroring those of the Greek gods), which would eventually end in an equally thunderous and tumultuous way. Since her unprecedented heartbreak, she has been meeting and cavorting with several young male companions, usually with the assistance of her sophisticated friend, Sauvignon. Her name: Morgan. Her ambition: lawyer. Her bad luck: men.
The tale must be told, of Morgan's experiences with the opposite sex, since her union with her first love was brought to an end. These experiences are bound to shock, marvel and astonish, but alas, they must be told, as they are all based on true events. There must no doubt be a force trying to reckon with Morgan. It is only a wonder what kind of karma she must have pissed off.

The tale begins...

What a wonderful world

M wasn't at the drug party I attended a couple of weekends ago. I half expected him there because the party was hosted by one of our mutual friends, Sex Fiend. Leading up to the party, the prospect of seeing M was quite exciting. With Stouty at my side, I'd be able to rub into his stupid little bastard face how I've moved on and how I'm happier than I ever was with him (that f*cking c*nt). Oh well, I'm sure his sister filled him in on the Amsterdam episode and he is well aware of my current relationship status.

That night at the party, I believe I told Stouty that I loved him. That was after I had done several lines of M-CAT, inhaled large volumes of Nitrous Oxide, and consumed heavy quantities of wine, so I'm sure it came as no surprise to either of us that I "loved" him that night. The party was over for me just before 12am, when it became evident that my head belonged firmly inside the toilet bowl. Stouty was very sweet. He held my hair and rubbed my back while I yakked up my guts for over an hour. As Foxy Toxi would say: "brownie points for Stouty!" As sweet as he was, in the morning, I took back what I said about me loving him. (I fervently stand my ground - I will not be the first one to say it. No way Jose. Though I will happily say it and take it back in the morning.)

Things are going very well between Stouty and I. It's almost sickening. If I saw us together, I'd cringe. Often, Stouty and I will just be lying in bed together, looking into each other's eyes. There'll be no exchange of words, no form of entertainment in the background (for example, TV/iPod), just the act of deep and intense gazing. Apart from when I punched him in the stomach with full force this weekend (he fell asleep on me when I was trying to have a meaningful conversation with him), I'd say our relationship is pretty near perfect. What an amazing feeling being head over heels in lo...

The days of fun and games are now over for me, at least for the time being. I am now back to studying rigorously (evidently) for exams coming up in May. Did I tell you that I probably failed my January exams? (I'm pretty certain I f*cked them up. No seriously, I'm not just saying this to get your sympathy.) I'll find out the results at the end of the month/beginning of next month, so I'll know then for sure whether my new company in Canada will still hire me. Ah yes, I also probably forgot to mention that my job offer is conditional on me passing these exams. I may be here for the long haul after all. If so, I wonder if I'll marry Stouty? I'll be a 28 year-old bride, with a 23 year-old (flat broke) groom. Whatever, money doesn't make the world go round you know. Haven't you ever heard that Jane Morgan song? (No, I know, me neither. I had to look this one up.)
