I have 24 hours to decide whether or not to sleep with Baklava.
He's heading back to Turkey next Saturday and he only has tomorrow and the day after free from work. Fine, so he's only away for two weeks, but by the time he gets back I'll be too busy studying for some upcoming exams that sex with Baklava will be the last thing on my mind. It really must happen tomorrow or Tuesday or the opportunity will be forever lost.
I should also point out that he hasn't explicitly said we should have sex. That's the assumption I've made from his string of texts, written in his finest English:
Baklava: You're so sweat and beautiful Morgan. I really like you too much. I wish I wouldn't have to go back to Turkey.
Morgan: Aww, I'm sure we'll keep in touch even when you're back in Turkey.
Baklava: Yea I hope. but I would want to touch you, not just keep in touch. ok, I'm not gonna maintain this situation like this. You can't imagine how much I want. Shall we meet Monday or Tuesday Morgan?
By "I want to touch you", I imagine he means "I want to touch you down there". And by "You can't imagine how much I want", I imagine he means "You can't imagine how much I want your mouth around my pious willy". What a dirty bastard.
I need to weigh out the pros and cons of sleeping with Baklava. The pros are: I get to have some sex and I'll continue to get free wine at his bar. The cons are: Baklava will most likely fall in love with me (if he hasn't already), he'll no doubt show even greater signs of neediness, and he might change his mind about moving back to Turkey for good in January (that would be a real inconvenience). Oh, and there are also the practicalities: not only am I on my period, but I'd have to get Cynthia booked in for a wax, which might be difficult at the last minute. Ugh, and how about when it comes to actually having the sex? Would it be rude of me to ask him not to talk before, during or after (the way he talks creeps me out)? And what about after we've exchanged fluids? I don't want him to stay over, so am I allowed to send him out in the middle of the night wandering the streets of East London?
Clearly, the pros outweigh the cons and the deed should be done.
I won't text Baklava just yet though, just in case a sudden hit of morality kicks in (known to happen at times) and I realise that I would be sleeping with him for all the wrong reasons.
Stay tuned.
Morgan's tale of sex and frolic
Let me tell you a tale as it unfolds of a girl's experiences most true and profound. She is a girl of 28, a worldly and educated sort who once upon a time had the convenience of falling into a great and spiraling love, an almost mythical kind of love (mirroring those of the Greek gods), which would eventually end in an equally thunderous and tumultuous way. Since her unprecedented heartbreak, she has been meeting and cavorting with several young male companions, usually with the assistance of her sophisticated friend, Sauvignon. Her name: Morgan. Her ambition: lawyer. Her bad luck: men.
The tale must be told, of Morgan's experiences with the opposite sex, since her union with her first love was brought to an end. These experiences are bound to shock, marvel and astonish, but alas, they must be told, as they are all based on true events. There must no doubt be a force trying to reckon with Morgan. It is only a wonder what kind of karma she must have pissed off.
The tale begins...
